Of course we had to have a true Texas girl on the cover of our Don't Mess With Texas issue! Sure Shot Mariesha is a true country girl at heart, and not only is she a force to be reckoned with when it comes to firearms—Mariesha is also an avid archer, and that's her very own Mathews Jewel compound bow featured in this shoot!
In the photos, Mariesha carries a Colt Diamondback .22 revolver and a Marlin lever-action 30-30. The horse featured is Weyka by Kovington, owned by Amy Denny of Timber Ghost Stables, Texas.
