Born to a long line of Texans, Sure Shot Rachea started shooting as a little girl and learned at an early age to respect the freedom of gun ownership. Today, Rachea is one of the founders of HEX Tactical Resources, a firearms training and consulting company in Austin. It is her firm belief that training to be proficient with firearms is one of the most important investments a person can make in their lifetime.
Rachea carries her own Hy Hunter .38 Special Frontier Model Derringer, which was worn as a back-up boot gun by her granddad, who was a Texas Ranger. She also carries her Colt 1911 A1, .45 ACP with stag grips, designed by John Browning—standard corpsman issue—also carried by her granddad in WWII and later on duty with the DPS. |
